Vocational Centers have been established in slums and poor communities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Local female trainers impart training in stitching, tailoring, and embroidery coupled with basic literacy and numeracy.
The Centers have been established in District Mardan, Swabi, Peshawar, and Charsadda and its span are being extended to other districts. Free sewing machines are provided to the successful trainees enabling them to be economically self-reliant.
Women entrepreneurs from other districts, Abbottabad and Swat, are also part of our network.
